What has the ability to affect the entire world and change over time?
Before you choose politicians as your final answer, let me submit another idea.
Your voice has the ability to do many things. In the physical sense, you can yell at the top of your lungs, whisper secrets to your BFF, and have a simple conversation with a coworker. Your voice can also altar someones mental state. You can offer words of encouragement to someone struggling with a significant loss or crack the perfect joke to make those around you laugh.

The voice has many uses and stretches across many mediums. Music is a major player for the voice. Artists are able to create unique sounds when instruments are combined with their singing. Radio personalities have the one of a kind opportunity to give a personality to a faceless organization. Where television heavily depends on the visual to get a message across, radio stations need just the right voice to convey a certain feeling.
The voice can encourage, tear down, entertain and educate. When one puts their voice to use, they can literally change the world.
How are you using your voice?
